QuickCash is the creation of former banker and long time Marlburian, Ross Anderson.
Having spent a number of years in banking, working for Bank of New Zealand, Trustbank and Westpac, Ross saw how some sectors of society had difficulty obtaining personal loans from traditional banks. Those affected included senior citizens, single income families, beneficiaries, small businesses and those who may have had a minor credit defaults in their past.
Individuals who required finance to visit grandchildren, take a holiday, buy a second hand vehicle, restructure their credit card debt or attend a family funeral, were often unable to borrow the funds quickly and effortlessly, if at all!
QuickCash was primarily aimed at these people and quickly became the first point of call for hundreds of locals. Ross, who has a Bachelor of Applied Management degree and a Masters in Entrepreneurship from Otago University, is currently a business mentor for numerous local businesses.
